Even today decade-old Berg equipment can still be found in some Olympic training Centres. It just never became necessary to replace them. And that’s the standard we still feel obliged to fulfill today: a one-time purchase, forever. That’s why, by tradition, all of Berg’s products are predominantly hand-made – along their whole vertical range of manufacture. Sustainability, for us, means that none but the customer itself pays the price for one of our products and not a low-wage worker in a third-world country, an animal or our environment.
To coordinate our product development process our engineers closely cooperate with the many athletes affiliated with us and concentrate on the functional effectiveness of each of our products. We only deal in training tools whose use for athletic training has been proven as well as approved.
OPTIMIZED FOR MAXIMUM EFFECT
To enable athletes to achieve the best possible training effects with Berg products, our engineers leave nothing to chance. At the beginning of every new product development – and down to the most minute details – they gather all the necessary data to ensure a most effective and comfortable application.
TESTED BY THOSE THAT MATTER
With this data as a basis, our engineers then develop guidelines for an initial approach to products, which, in cooperation with our athletes, will be tested until the result can truly fulfill all of the practical standards they were designed for. Only then production begins. Now our engineers carefully choose the right materials and production methods to finally create a great and resilient product, one that will provide outstanding service to the athletes that use it – for a long, long time.
